Economic revival in Uzbekistan is forecast by experts in a new report of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
It says that the economies of Central Asia will grow faster than in other CIS countries, due to increased inflow of remittances, the implementation of the One Belt – One Road initiative, and in some cases, development financing from the budget. But in general, in most CIS countries, a relatively moderate growth is forecast, which will continue to be well below pre-crisis levels.
Economists report the activation of economic activity in the CIS space: there is a resumption of growth in the Russian Federation and the revival of the economy in Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Improving the terms of trade, more favorable external conditions and less instability in macroeconomics contributed to improving the economic climate in the region. The growth in regional GDP, slowed to almost stagnate in 2016, in 2017, is projected to be 2.2%. It is expected that in 2018 and 2019, the growth rate will accelerate to about 2.3% and 2.4%, respectively, the report says.
The world economic growth creates opportunities for addressing long-term problems such as climate change, elimination of social inequality, and removal of institutional obstacles to development.
In 2017, the global economy has grown by 3%. This is a record figure for the period after 2011. In the next two years, the world economy will grow at the same pace, experts concluded. In the report, they pointed to the main factors that influenced the strengthening of global GDP. This is a steady growth in several developed countries, as well as a way out of the recession in Argentina, Brazil, Nigeria and Russia. The rise is also supported by the revival of world trade and the improvement of investment conditions.

Journalists of Uzbekistan have presented a new motion picture “Nazira” directed by Jahongir Kasymov.
The picture is about the fate of a woman who had to fight to the end of her life with injustice and dishonor. After watching such a sharp psychological, so excited the whole story, the host of the press conference Shoira Raufbaeva said that although the film goes a little over two and a half hours, he captures, he wants to look and think about what is happening on the screen.
This is especially important for the young generation, especially for beginning filmmakers. It was very interesting to listen to the opinion of this work of one of the authors of the script, the writer Fakhriddin Nizamov. Speaking about the idea of the film, he said that it was necessary not only to tell about the interesting female destiny, but also to send the audience a certain “message”. And it consisted in the fact that work in business, as a rule, does not happen without problems and difficulties, and the main character demonstrates this by her example – the thorny path of her life. She had to go through serious tests related to the actions of dishonest officials.
“Working on the script,” F.Nizamov said, “we studied the archives of the family of our heroine, and therefore it was written on the basis of genuine events in the life of Nazira Shadmanova when she was trying to take as many as possible. On the one hand, she raised ten children, on the other hand, she first took the store for rent, then privatized it, then created another production facility, then the first one in Kashkadarya opened its large business company. And then her “walking through torments” began, literally until her death. With this work we wanted to show that in our country this should not happen in any case. Good times are changing, and today such cases are already yesterday.
The main role is played by two actresses, Honored Artists of Uzbekistan Shodiya Abdukadyrova and Muyassar Berdikulova. Shodiya is at the first important stage of life, and her colleague is at an older age. Actresses shared their impressions of how they worked on the role, than it attracted them so much. They spoke with a feeling of overwhelmed excitement and joy for a happy occasion to play this role. And, as critics have noted, this creative tandem looks very convincing, they are good at themselves and, most importantly, complement each other.
The premiere of the “Nazira” motion picture in Tashkent will take place in the near future.
