French judo experts visit Uzbekistan

According to official data, approximately 28 million people practice judo worldwide, with 530,000 of these practitioners residing in France.

Recently, representatives of the Judo Club Cellois, Aurelien Chausson and Manon Thiessart, visited the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan. Issues related to the popularization of this Olympic sport were discussed during the meeting with the federation representatives.

The guests were very interested in the activities of Uzbekistan’s judo clubs. They emphasized that there are currently about 5,700 similar clubs operating in France. The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
