Representative of Uzbekistan participated in the international conference SPIMUN 2026 in Paris



Biloliddin Omonullayev, a recipient of the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a student of the Tashkent branch of the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, participated in the Sciences Po International Model United Nations (SPIMUN 2026) conference held from March 4 to 7, 2026, in Paris at Sciences Po University. Around 300 delegates from various countries took part in the event.

The special guest of the opening ceremony was Gabriela Ramos, an international expert and former Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO. In her speech, she highlighted Uzbekistan, emphasizing the country’s positive development dynamics and its active participation in international cooperation.

During the conference, B. Omonullayev participated as a delegate in the work of the ECOSOC committee, where current issues of social protection and international economic cooperation were discussed.

At the closing ceremony, Biloliddin Omonullayev delivered a presentation dedicated to Uzbekistan. The presentation included materials on the historical and modern development of the country, as well as performances of national musical compositions on the violin.

The presentation also addressed Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, its historical role along the Great Silk Road, and the country’s international initiatives, including the hosting of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand in 2025.

Previously, Biloliddin Omonullayev also participated in the Culinary Competition 2024 international culinary contest in Paris organized by Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Following a multi-stage selection process, he became the only finalist from Central Asia and won third place in the final among representatives of 10 countries.
