The Centre Sportif Emile Anthoine in Paris brought together the world's top kurash wrestlers and female champions.

At the traditional international open tournament for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Prize, held annually, nearly 100 wrestlers from over 20 countries are participating.

At the opening ceremony, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to France, Nodir Ganiev, and the Secretary General of the International Kurash Association, Rizo Nassiri, gave speeches. They emphasized that the prestige and geographical reach of this tournament are expanding year by year, attracting the strongest athletes from around the world.

As part of the tournament, events were also held with the participation of Uzbek nationals living in France to promote the country’s national values and tourism potential. Demonstrations by Uzbek artisans and chefs, as well as concerts by Uzbek performers, were presented.
